Ready – or – Not?
By Nancy A. Brain
What if you suddenly and unexpectedly found yourself traveling the Alzheimer’s journey? Would you be prepared? Why not?
Preparedness is a way of life for most of us and we are prepared for things that we don’t really expect to be faced with – fire, floods, medical emergencies – but we have some knowledge of all of these events “just in case.” More often than not we use this information to help others who do find themselves facing these challenges. Why not, then, be prepared for Alzheimer’s disease? If not for us – then to help others.
Everyone needs a little basic information about Alzheimer’s disease to help not only ourselves, but to help others we care about. Let’s arm ourselves with basic information, let’s educate others, let’s “Be Prepared.”
